Book a table
You arrive, the table is there.
freimo writes the reservation to the venue, you read it over and send it. The reply lands in the app — confirmed, with another time, or declined.

How it works
From meetup to table.
- 1
Attach a place
On a confirmed meetup freimo suggests places halfway between you — or you search yourself. One tap attaches it.
- 2
freimo writes the request
Name, party size, date and time are already known — from those freimo drafts a polite email. You can change every word.
- 3
You send it
The request only goes out when you tap send. freimo never sends on its own and never books without you.
- 4
The reply comes back
When the venue answers, freimo classifies it: confirmed, another time suggested, or not possible. The status sits on the meetup; you accept an alternative with one tap.
This is for you if
Where booking a table gets awkward.
Calling doesn't fit right now
Phoning a restaurant between two meetings rarely works. An email you can send whenever.
You never know whether it worked
Reserved, but no confirmation. The status on the meetup tells you where you stand.
Cancelling feels awkward
Something comes up and nobody likes calling to cancel. freimo writes that too.
Honestly
What freimo does not do here.
This is the part where marketing likes to overstate. So, explicitly:
- No instant booking. freimo has no connection to the venue's reservation system. What happens is an email request — whether it is accepted is up to the venue.
- No partner network. There are no partnerships and no commissions. freimo writes to the venue's publicly listed address, nothing more.
- Not possible everywhere. Email reservation only works for venues with an address on file. Where there is none, freimo offers a call — one tap dials, you speak, freimo records the outcome.
- No guarantee. A confirmed table is as binding as any email reservation. For very short notice a phone call is often faster.
Privacy
What arrives at the venue.
The request contains what a reservation needs: name, party size, date, time and — if you stored one — a phone number for questions. Your friends' names are not in it. The reply comes back through a dedicated address so your private one never reaches the venue. You see the full text before it goes out.
Questions
About reservations.
Does freimo actually book the table?
No. freimo writes a reservation request and tracks the reply. There's no integration with booking systems and no instant confirmation — the venue answers as it would any other email.
What if the venue has no email address?
Then freimo offers a phone reservation: one tap dials the number, you speak yourself, and afterwards you record the outcome in the app — calendar entry included.
Can I edit the text first?
Yes, completely. Subject and body are open for editing before you send.
What happens if they suggest another time?
If the venue proposes a different time, freimo recognises it and shows you. You accept with one tap — the meetup is then adjusted.
How do I cancel?
Through the same meetup. freimo writes a short, polite cancellation and sends it once you approve.
Does this work for things other than restaurants?
Yes, also for a spa appointment or an overnight stay. The request is worded accordingly.
